MakeWaves works primarily with growing small to mid-size businesses in industrial distribution, specialty wholesale, light manufacturing, and service sectors, typically $150K to $15M in annual revenue. Team size matters less than complexity: we work with solo owner-operators and with teams of a hundred or more. If your operation has outgrown the way you are running it, you're likely in the right range.

Both. Many engagements are conducted primarily remotely, with periodic on-site visits as needed. For implementation projects that require direct team training or hands-on workflow observation, we will coordinate on-site time. Based in Ventura, CA, but available for engagements nationwide.

Every engagement is custom-scoped based on your specific situation, team size, and project complexity. Assessments are fixed-fee. Implementation projects are quoted based on scope. The advisory retainer is a flat monthly rate. After a discovery call, we'll provide a clear proposal with defined deliverables and pricing before any work begins.
